Profile
I received my master degree in Agricultural Biotechnology from the Tarbiat Modaress University, Iran, with focus on the impacts of promoter variations on the gene expression and an anticancer alkaloid production in opium poppy. My research is focusing on the chemical communication between potato and PCNs. For this end, I am applying multi-omics approaches combined with molecular biology methods to identify novel signaling molecules and their corresponding biosynthetic genes in potato and tomato.
Outside of the lab, Davar spend his spare time by hanging out with friends, walking and cycling around beautiful Amsterdam.
