My work is to set up and carry out methods and assays to study potato signaling molecules. It includes the identification of candidate genes through a number of approaches such as RNAseq, QTL mapping, agroinfiltration, virus induced gene silencing (VIGS) and Crisp/cas techniques to manipulate the signalling molecules production in potatoes, and doing metabolite extraction for several types of analytical analyses.
